Last week, we finished our Keyboarding Unit. We did an online Typing Test, and a Skill Drill (printed and submitted). If you haven't done so already, you will have to make an arrangement with Ms. Malloff to come in at lunch.
Eportfolios:
1. Complete the checklist (handed out in class). Are you missing anything? Make a plan to complete.
2. HCE 9/ InfoTech 9 Classes will be held together on Wednesday and Friday for Biography/Eportfolio Presentations.
3. New Project: Technology Wikipedia (Due before Spring Break).
Your Blog:
1. Add your plan for the week. What do you need to do? How and when will it get done?
2. What is your Self-Directed Learning Focus for the week?
3. What is your Technology Wikipedia Topic? Who are you working with?

Wednesday, February 15th: EPortfolios & Self-Directed Learning
Self-Directed Learning is when a person is able to set goals, manage priorities, stay focussed, and complete a project or assignment. We'll be focussing on this Key Competency (Independent Learning) for the EPortfolio project.
Today, we'll do the following:
1. Ten minute keyboarding skills (have you set a goal, are you making an effort to improve?)
2. Finish Setting up your EPortfolio according to the guidelines on our InfoTech 9 Website
3. Choose a topic for our Technology Wikipedia Class Project (with a partner) on our Google Doc
4. Posting on your Blog (link should be sent to me) with the Self-Directed Learning rubric as a prompt (take any aspect and comment on how you're doing, what your struggles are, and what you're working on)
