We're Back!

I've been going through student blogs and some eportfolios, and we're coming along fairly well.

First, take a look at the blog post below if you've missed last class before Spring Break. It will tell you what we needed to accomplish with regard to eportfolios.

Here is a list of students who don't have a blog link sent to me yet (or one that doesn't work):
Sara N
Rebecca R
Eden S
Madison D
Oliver C-L
Marco S
Mikayla T
Kevin W

This week, here's what's on board:
1. Practice logging in to our InfoTech 9 Moodle course (upload eportfolio link to eportfolio module)
2. Discuss and Plan for our DreamWorld Island ActiveWorlds BCNexus Project
3. Thursday, March 29th: skype call with Gordon Holden, teacher

Thursday, we'll be planning the terraform of our Island, and each group will join the wikispace and begin drafting their building. We'll determine some of the laws and guidelines to live in a Digital World, and also work on our Independent Projects, too. An exciting week!

Just Before Spring Break...

We've spent the last few classes combined with HCE 9 to do our HCE 9 Oral Biography Presentations. The written component of the presentations will be put on the homepage of your eportfolios.

Where you should be at this week:
1. Upload you HCE 9 Oral Presentation Rubric to your Communication & Expression Page
2. Upload your Eportfolio Rubric to your Independent Learning Page

Please comment on each addressing the following:
1. How did I do?
2. How do I know?
3. What comes next for me?

After Spring Break, we'll be working on our Technology Wikipedia Project.
